In this solo project, the brief was to create a level that could potentially be used in a game. This project tested how I could apply a pathway that players will easily be able to navigate. We had to create a scene in Unreal Engine 5 that included at least 10 3D modelled assets. The rest of the assets could be taken from Quixel megascans.
I chose to make a kitchen level where the player is a rat who has to run from the exterminators and escape the building. I created some kicthen assets in Maya and textured them using Substance Painter.
We had to add in at least one particle effect and lighting, I chose to create bubbles that come out of the sink as my particle effect. The video below show how the player would navigate through the level and the turntables of the models I made.
